Swedish fashion giant H&M recently announced their first collaboration with a South African designer, Palesa Mokubung, which hits stores on the 15th of August. Joining the ranks ofÂ Karl Lagerfeld, and Alexander Wang (to name a few) who have collaborated with the retailer, Palesa is the first African designer to have her clothing grace H&M racks.

We’re officially obsessed with the Mantsho label
Palesa started her label, MantshoÂ â€“ meaning “black is beautiful” in her native Sesotho language â€“ back in 2004, and hasÂ since graced numerous runways, including Greece, India, USA, Jamaica, Nigeria, Botswana and Senegal.
